β-BBO Crystal, a nonlinear crystal for frequency conversion in the ultraviolet, visible and near-infrared, has low group-velocity dispersion, high nonlinear optical coefficients, high damage threshold and broad transparency range. Due to these excellent features, BBO can widely be used in not only nonlinear optical applications such as frequency converters and optical parametric oscillators, but also in the realm of quantum optics such as generation of entangled photon pairs and ten-photon entanglement.
